Please read through the terms and conditions thoroughly. T&C’s are final. No exceptions.

Refund policy

Cancellations more than 90 days from the event – 100% refund less admin fee.
Cancellations 89-60 days from the event date – 50% refundless admin fee.
Cancellations 59 days or less from the event – no refund, transfer only plus admin fee.

Refunds will incur an admin free of $2.50 AUD.

Refund policy does not apply if the Postponement Policy is enacted.

Postponement policy

In the unlikely event that the Race Directors determine that the Nov 16-17, 2024 event cannot take place for safety concerns or otherwise as a result of something beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including and without limitation to pandemic or other mass health and safety issues, strong winds, heavy rain, fire, flood, excessive atmospheric pollution, lightening and accidents, force majeure, terrorism or war, or any other Act of God, all participants will have their race registration automatically moved to the re-scheduled event date.

Alternatively, and only for postponement related reasons:

• Participants can transfer their entry to another participant within the next event date’s transfer timeframes
• Receive a 50% refund. Option must be advised in writing to info@stromlo.com.au within 60 days of cancellation of 2024 event. If refund option is not advised within 60 days, no refund will be given.
• Refunds will incur an admin free of $2.50

In addition, I acknowledge I will have no claim against the event organisers for any loss or damage I may suffer because of such postponement.

Merchandise

All SRF merchandise is custom made to order and pick up only at the event.

Please ensure you collect your orders at the event as they will not be posted. All remaining free shirts after the event will be donated. Choose carefully as there are no refunds or exchange on merchandise, we do not hold stock.

Transfers

Outside of the Postponement Policy, transfers are applicable for the current year event only. No entries can be carried forward to new events and dates.

Transfers (different course or new participant) will incur an admin fee of $2.50 AUD.

Entries can be transferred to anyone who is eligible to enter the event within the transfer time period.

Please email info@stromlo.com.au with the new participant email address so that a transfer request can be raised.

Please note:
Free tshirts ordered before 11.59pm 30th June 2024 will be transferred to the participant, the size cannot be changed as they are custom ordered.

Transfers must be completed by 11.59pm AEST 31st October 2024 – no exceptions.

I understand that participating in the Stromlo Running Festival event is potentially hazardous and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident that may occur during the event or while I am on the precincts of the event.

I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in the event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, traffic and conditions of the road/trail. 

I accept all responsibility for travel and personal medical insurance and for payment and/or reimbursement of medical/surgical expenses incurred because of my participation in the event.

I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge the event organisers, sponsors, promoters and each of their agents, representatives, successors and assigns and all other persons associated with the event, for all my liabilities, claims, actions or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my attendance at and participation in the event. 

I also agree to follow and obey all instructions and directions given by officials, marshals, members of the police, emergency or rescue staff, I understand that this waiver includes any claims with a cause by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the above parties, or otherwise. 

I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the above parties to use any photographs, video tapes, motion pictures, website images, recordings, and any other record of this event.   

I understand all entries are non-refundable for non-starters and non-finishers

I understand that in the event that the event course is, in the opinion of the event organisers, unsafe (for example by reason of heavy rain, flood, high winds, bushfires, “acts of god”), organisers may, in their sole discretion, attempt to re-route the course, find an alternative shortened course or cancel the event. 

Organisers also reserve the right to cancel, re-route or shorten the event for any other reason which may include but is not limited to environmental considerations, terrorism and war. 

If the event is cancelled, re-routed or shortened, no refund will be made. 

Due to the scale of the event and travel & commitment involved by competitors, it may not be practical to re-schedule the event to any other weekend.

By registering for this event, you consent Stromlo Running Festival to provide your details, including: medical history, emergency contact and any other information to our chosen Medical Provider.

By registering for this event you consent to the medical provider to provide Stromlo Running Festival your medical incident report form or incident report in full.

Awards

Awards will be provided after the event to our podium winners – 1st, 2^nd, 3^rd Male and Female of each distance (excl. kids).

Awards received cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash with the event organisers or any event sponsors.
