Suitable for children up to 13yrs
All entrants under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for the duration of the race. It is free to nominate an accompanying adult. This option must be selected at time of child’s registration.
Performance Expectations: This is a gentle grass cross-country course which is suitable for most. Parents and carers are expected to use their discretion when registering their child for the event.
Runners who register before June 30th, 2025 will receive a free event tshirt (RRP $35). Every runner receives a finishers medal and zooper dooper (registered child only, not accompanying adult).
COURSE PROFILE
Stromlo Forest Park is home to a fantastic 2.5km grass covered running track. This track is used for cross country runs and a fast and fun flat run. This is the ideal track for youngsters to let loose and enjoy their running experience.
The course will be marked with flags to ensure kids know which way to go. Younger children are able to be accompanied by an adult. Accompanying adults will need to enter the event and will receive a bib and time but will not be in the running for prizes.
